  • Cantonese Opera Performance Appreciation<\/li>
  • Tasting Nostalgic Treats: Sachima \/ Sweet Egg Pastry and Walnut Crisps<\/li><\/ul>

    Activity Description:<\/p>

    • On the day of the event, children wear various styles of traditional Chinese attire (Chinese costumes) to school and participate in traditional art workshops\u2014such as making herbal scented sachets, Chinese herbal paintings, and tie-dyeing\u2014allowing them to experience the unique features of traditional arts through hands-on learning.<\/li>
    • Children enjoy a Cantonese Opera performance. In addition to sharing the origins and history of Cantonese Opera, the performers demonstrate stage props such as traditional stage weapons (\"Bazi\") and horse whips, offering interactive opportunities for the children to try them out. This hands-on interaction deepens their understanding of Cantonese Opera and keeps them fully engaged.<\/li>
    • Children taste nostalgic traditional snacks\u2014Sachima (sweet egg pastry) and walnut crisps\u2014alongside a gentle sip of Chinese tea.
