Activity Description:

• On the day of the event, parents are invited to bring a Mid-Autumn festive food item to share and sample during the carnival. This enables children to learn about traditional foods while offering all participants a deeper immersion in Mid-Autumn culture as they celebrate the festival together.
• During the Parent-Child Lantern Carnival, activities such as group games and snow-skin mooncake making allow participants to experience the lively festive spirit, promote parent-child interaction and cultural inheritance, and create unforgettable Mid-Autumn memories for families.
• Students across all levels experience traditional Mid-Autumn culture by crafting their own paper lanterns, enjoying the fun of hands-on creation while adding unique meaning and cherished memories to the festival.
• Through a specially set up light-and-shadow exploration area, children can discover the subtle shifts of light and shadow through play, seamlessly blending learning with entertainment.
• After listening to storytelling sessions on Mid-Autumn origins by teachers, children dress up as the Jade Rabbit and Chang'e to distribute small gifts at the school entrance. This enhances the joyous atmosphere, deepens their understanding of Chinese mythology, and lets them experience the joy of sharing and celebration.
