Activity Details: Golden Dragon Brings Good Fortune – Lunar New Year Gathering

Activity Description:
1. On the day of the event, children wear traditional Chinese attire (Chinese costumes) to school to enhance the festive spirit
2. A variety of group games and art activities are designed for each grade—such as "God of Fortune's Visit," "New Year Sticky Beans," and Chinese New Year crafts—allowing children to learn about festive customs and traditional items through hands-on experiences.
3. Children handcraft maltose crackers to take home and share with their families, learning about traditional Chinese snacks while practicing the traditional virtue of filial piety.
4. Children gather to enjoy a traditional Poon Choi feast, experiencing the lively festive atmosphere while learning about the origins of Poon Choi and table etiquette during celebrations.
5. Teachers lead the lion dance team to perform in a nearby neighborhood plaza, bringing Lunar New Year joy and warm blessings to members of the local community.
