Objectives:

• To deepen children's understanding of traditional Chinese folk games through a spinning top competition.
• To teach children traditional festive etiquette and allow them to experience the joyful atmosphere through a Chinese New Year Poon Choi feast.
• To enhance children's awareness of traditional Chinese sports through dragon and lion dance performances, strengthening their sense of national identity.

Activity Description:

• On the day of the event, children wear traditional Chinese attire to school to enhance the festive spirit.
• Children gather to enjoy a traditional Poon Choi feast with Chinese tea, immersing themselves in the lively festive atmosphere while practicing table etiquette and learning about the origins of Poon Choi.
• Children bring back the spinning tops distributed before the holiday to join in a friendly competition, experiencing the joy of playing traditional Chinese folk games together with their peers.
• 老師帶領醒獅隊到校外進行舞龍及醒獅表演，把新春的歡樂氣氛及祝福送給社區每一個居民。
