Activity Details: Joyful Chinese New Year Celebration Carnival

Target Audience: K1, K2, and K3 Students (Nursery, Lower, and Upper Classes)

Objectives:
1. To deepen children's understanding of Chinese New Year customs and traditions through a variety of festive activities.
2. To introduce the names and symbolic meanings of various traditional Chinese New Year treats through the "Festive Goody Bag" activity.
3. To enhance children's appreciation of traditional Chinese culture and foster a festive, joyful atmosphere through the lion dance activity.

Activity Description:
1. On the day of the event, children wear traditional Chinese attire (Chinese costumes) to school to enhance the festive spirit
2. A variety of games and art activities are designed for each grade—such as wishing card design, Fai Chun exchange, "Dancing Lions Welcoming the New Year," and a Parent-Child Lunar New Year Hanging Decoration Design Contest—allowing children to learn about new year customs and traditional items through hands-on experiences.
3. Children craft their own "Cute Mini Fai Chun" and recite festive greetings to express warm wishes and blessings to others.
4. Children participate in the Parent-Child Lunar New Year Hanging Decoration Design Contest, collaborating with their families to create traditional, themed decorations that bring festive joy to both home and school.
5. All students join the "Dancing Lions Welcoming the New Year" activity, participating in lion dance performances and the "Plucking the Red" (Cai Qing) ritual to experience China's time-honored traditional lion dance art firsthand.
